Alpha Phis are passionate about advancing not only the lives of our sisters, but the lives of women around the world. Whether it’s initiating community service efforts, raising awareness for heart health or navigating the unique and challenging issues facing women on today’s college campuses, we stand together boldly to make a difference on our campuses and in our communities.

Alpha Phi chapters raise more than $2,000,000 for the Alpha Phi Foundation each year, and we are thrilled for Arkansas Alpha Phis to have the opportunity to raise awareness and funds for heart health at their first philanthropy events this year.

A signature event in Alpha Phi is our Red Dress Gala, and Arkansas Alpha Phi will be hosting their first one this spring! Our Red Dress Gala will be a special event that brings together Alpha Phis, family, friends and the entire community in support of women’s heart health. It will be an evening of elegance and purpose and include guest speakers, a silent auction and opportunities to raise awareness about heart health. We can’t wait for our founding members and the University of Arkansas to experience this event.

Alpha Phi members will have the chance to shape the future of Alpha Phi’s philanthropic contributions at the University of Arkansas through the creation of the chapter’s other philanthropy events.

Alpha Phis will also initiate the chapter’s first community service efforts this year! Alpha Phi is building a partnership with the Arkansas Children’s Hospital Northwest in Springdale.

In 1956, Alpha Phi became one of the first women’s fraternities to establish a Foundation. Today, the Alpha Phi Foundation is a thriving, well-known and respected philanthropic leader in the Greek community.
