Your Daughter and Alpha Phi
We are so happy that your daughter is considering membership in Alpha Phi! Alpha Phi is a loyal sisterhood of women courageously pursuing limitless excellence. We are comprised of 175 collegiate chapters and more than 290,000 members.
As she begins her Alpha Phi journey at the University of Arkansas, we want to be certain she has the opportunities to grow, make friends and have fun. Most of all, we hope that her collegiate experience enriches her education, provides professional networking opportunities and sets the tone for life after graduation.
As a student and new member, we encourage her to get involved, explore new interests, get to know other sisters and fellow students and take an active part in the life of her chapter and college or university.
We’re so proud of the outstanding members that make up our exceptional organization. We’re committed to providing an extraordinary member experience during your Alpha Phi’s four years of college and, most importantly, for all the years ahead.
Founding Member Experience
At a university as rich in tradition as Arkansas, it is rare to be able to be able to build a new set of traditions. As a founding member of Alpha Phi, your daughter will have the same events and experiences as members of other chapters, but will also have the chance to shape Alpha Phi into the experience she has been looking for. She will also have pride in knowing that she has helped to create something new and left a lasting legacy at the University of Arkansas.
Her Alpha Phi journey will kick off with Bid Day on September 8 followed by a six-week new member program. She will learn all about Alpha Phi and have an abundance of opportunities to bond with her new sisters.
She will have a full calendar to look forward to in Alpha Phi with philanthropy events, social functions, big/little reveal, Homecoming and so much more. You can learn more about the founding member experience here.
“As a founding member and the first chapter president at the University of Georgia, I experienced the unwavering commitment of Alpha Phi to foster growth and empowerment among its newest chapters and members. I found a network that supported and inspired me, nurturing not only my personal development, but also instilling the values of unity and sisterhood. Serving as the founding president of our chapter molded my confidence and leadership skills essential for success beyond my undergraduate years. The invaluable lessons learned during my term continue to guide me as I progress in my career, and have ultimately made me a better pharmacist for my interdisciplinary team and patients.” – Brooke Coffelt (Kappa Epsilon-Georgia), Founding Chapter President
